Ducks Unlimited Canada

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) is the leader in wetland conservation. It is a registered charity partnered with government, industry, non-profit organizations and landowners to conserve wetlands that are critical to waterfowl, wildlife and the environment. The Sawridge Hotel and Conference Centre was the host of their May 2015 banquet with many fundraising activities. Kalex Custom Carvings Ltd. had two signs in the live auction. In spirit of The Northern Kickoff in June 2015, one sign was made for an Edmonton Eskimos fan and the other for a Saskatchewan Roughrider fan. The signs were paired with a pair of tickets to the CFL game taking place in Fort McMurray in June 2015. Together the package raised $1200 for the charity. We are thrilled that we were able to help with our environment’s conservation by donating to such a great organization!
